ShadeStar Warranty
All of our components are guaranteed to function under normal circumstances without defect for a ten year period at the original installation location. If you incur difficulties with the product we will replace it first and determine the cause second. With minimal maintenance and care, our products offer decades of protection and service.

Fabric Warranty
We offer any and all of the acrylics available in the market today. The standards are Sunbrella and Dickson. These fabrics are very light weight and incredibly durable for many years of use and color retention. We do not make fabric, but purchase from suppliers that offer five-year prorated warranties against rotting, fading and mildew. Most fabrics will continue to maintain a high quality look and function for 8-10 years, at which time a cleaning or recover is suggested.

» Sunbrella fabric is guaranteed by the manufacturer for five years from the day of installation, and covers loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, rot and atmospheric chemicals. It does not cover labor and installation.

» Dickson Awning fabric is warranted for five years against rot, mildew, and loss of color or strength. The manufacturers warranty does not cover labor and installation.

Motor Warranty
ShadeStar installs only the highest quality Elero brand motor for quiet, smooth and effortless operation. These products are time tested and offer the best operational standards in the market. All Elero motors are backed by a 5 year warranty against manufacture defects and 1 year on electronic components. Motors can be replaced onsite or repaired with technical assistance from ShadeStar or Elero.
